On Sunday, the most experienced riders started on the Half distance, climbing 1786 m of positive difference in altitude with three mythical climbs on the programme: the Côte de Domancy, renamed "the Bernard Hinault climb", followed by the Bettex climb over 6 km before reaching the Plaine-Joux summit. Guaranteed sensations for mountain lovers with an unobstructed view of Mont Blanc while crossing the communes of Passy and Saint-Gervais. A demanding and exhilarating course that delighted many.

Last but not least race format of the day: the Sprint format which gathered more than 700 participants on its 750m of swim, 23km of bike with 200m of positive elevation and 5km of running.

The 17th edition of the Mont Blanc International Triathlon kicked off with the Olympic format! Hundreds of participants started on a magnificent course of 1.5km of swimming in the lake of Passy facing the Mont-Blanc, 42km of cycling towards Plaine Joux and 10km of running on the paths around the lake of Passy.
